these will just light up on impact so it might slightly damage the enemy aircraft or if there is fuel, ignite it. these are highly dangerouse because they have a good chance of blowing off pieces of the plane that are damaged, or getting into the plane and exploding on the inside. Then you have your High-Explosive rounds that will either explode on impact or self destruct after so long in flight. So if you have AP-I, you can pierce the engines and fuel tanks and have a higher chance of setting the engine/fuel on fire and doing damage over time, or blowing the plane up instantly. the ones with tracers will do less damage though. all of these bullets will go through the armor of aircraft and take out components.
